The Historic Sports Car Club has been shortlisted in the Club of the Year category in the 2016 International Historic Motoring Awards in association with Octane magazine and EFG private bank.
The prestigious awards for historic motoring and motorsport are a highlight of the year and the panel of expert judges includes Derek Bell and Nick Mason. The awards will be presented at a gala dinner at London's Guildhall on Thursday 17 November.
In addition to the Club of the Year nomination, the HSCC-organised Jaguar Classic Challenge is shortlisted in Race Series of the Year and Club Chief Executive Officer Grahame White is shortlisted for the Personal Achievement of the Year award.
Meanwhile the Silverstone Classic, for which the HSCC is the race-organising club, is shortlisted for the Motorsport Event of the Year.
The HSCC also has close links with the Formula Junior Historic Racing Association, which is shortlisted for the Club of the Year award and for the Race Series of the Year award with its Formula Junior Diamond Jubilee World Tour.
