The Historic Sports Car Club has agreed a multi-year partnership with Nova Motorsport for the supply of tyres for a number of its racing categories.
As part of the new deal, HP Tyres has been appointed the exclusive Nova Motorsport service provider for all HSCC events and will also be supporting those HSCC categories that run on Goodyear and Dunlop tyres.
The move secures the future of tyre supply for HSCC race categories in a time of market volatility and price fluctuation. HSCC racing members will benefit from a guaranteed competitive pricing structure and certainty of supply on a multi-year basis from respected and trusted suppliers. Nova Motorsport is the licenced manufacturer of Avon Motorsport tyres.
The commercial benefits of the deal will be ploughed back into the HSCC championships for the good of competitors and the agreement ensures on-going provision of period correct products for racing members. Arrangements will be made for competitors who hold existing stocks of tyres during a transition period in 2025.
As part of the agreement, Nova Motorsport will support the HSCC Derek Bell Trophy series for powerful single seaters ranging from Formula 2, Formula 5000, Formula Atlantic, Formula 3 and Formula Ford 2000.
Andy Dee-Crowne, CEO of the HSCC, said: “This multi-year deal is great news for the club and its members during a period of volatility and uncertainty in the race tyre market. The agreement guarantees availability, standardises and contains costs and will bring real benefits to members racing in each of the relevant categories.”
More details about those benefits, tyre pricing and supply will be announced shortly.
