HSCC heritage & history
The HSCC was created in 1966 by a small group of enthusiasts, notably Guy Griffiths & Betty Haig who believed passionately that historic racing cars should be preserved for future generations.
The Club is proud to have maintained and developed Guy & Betty’s passion over the past 60 years by not only building historic racing into a major part of the UK racing scene but also creating a strong sense of community amongst competitors.
HSCC the heart of historic racing
The Historic Sports Car Club (HSCC), established in 1966, has played a pivotal role in preserving the legacy of motor racing through its celebration of both open and closed wheel cars.
This dedication to originality allows enthusiasts of all ages to experience the thrill of historic racing while safeguarding the heritage of historic motorsport for future generations. The HSCC welcomes anyone with an interest in cars spanning half a century of motor sport to get involved and elsewhere on this site you will find details of the Club’s race categories.
If you have a passion for historic racing but are unsure how to get involved, get in touch! We’re here to guide you.
