The Legends of Brands Super Prix weekend will have a fresh format for 2021 and for the first time the event will use both the Indy and Grand Prix circuit layouts at the hugely popular venue.

Friday’s programme will take place on the Indy circuit before the action switches to the sensational Grand Prix circuit for Saturday and Sunday. Provisionally, Friday’s schedule is for five test sessions for weekend competitors before five qualifying sessions and five races through the afternoon.

The six races set for Friday afternoon on the Indy circuit are Classic Clubmans, Classic F3, Historic Formula Ford 2000 (two heats and a final) and Champion of Brands Formula Ford. With the exception of Classic Clubmans and Champion of Brands FF, all those classes then switch to the Grand Prix circuit on Saturday.

On the GP circuit on Saturday and Sunday will be races for Guards Trophy, Historic Road Sports, Historic FF1600, Historic FF2000, Thundersports, Classic FF1600, Historic F3, 70s Road Sports, Historic Touring Cars, Formula Junior, Classic Formula 3/Classic Formula Ford 2000 and Aurora Trophy/Geoff Lees Trophy.

Significant guests will be racers from the Historic Grand Prix Cars Association, with one qualifying session and three races on Saturday and Sunday for a fabulous array of pre ’66 Grand Prix cars.
