As in previous years, if you have volunteered to marshal at the Silverstone Classic meeting- camping tickets must be ordered in advance. The link is now live on the Silverstone Classic website and the application deadline is Monday 2nd July. We have emailed every marshal who has already volunteered directly to the HSCC for this race meeting with the full details.
Extra camping is charged at £30 per adult, £10 per child aged 6-16 (compared with the public prices of £49 and £16.50) and children aged 5 and under are free of charge but you must request a ticket.
Please note if you do not register for your 2 free camping tickets by Monday 2nd July, you will have to purchase camping tickets at full price via www.silverstoneclassic.com/buytickets
Further information regarding Silverstone Woodlands Campsite:
Woodlands will be open from 9am Thursday 19th until 12 noon on Monday 23rd July
There will be a dedicated area for marshals with security patrolling on a 24 hour basis
60 electrical hook-ups are available on a first come first served basis as per previous years
At Woodlands there are permanent shower and toilet facilities, and an onsite pub and shop
New for 2018, on each of Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings, a stagecoach bus will be at the marshals’ area in Woodlands campsite to collect marshals at 7am and take you directly to sign-on. If leaving the campsite after 7am, then the Woodlands’ Tractor Shuttles will be available and will drop at Gate 15, where you can hop on the Silverstone Classic perimeter road bus and hop off again at SRC. This saves the need for driving in and out each morning. The perimeter road buses will operate until 7.30pm on Friday, 9.30pm on Saturday (plus there’s a dedicated “Concert area to Gate 15” bus until midnight on both days), and 6.30pm on Sunday
