DESCRIPTION:This is a two day event with races for the following categories of cars. \nA. Walter Hayes Trophy for 1600cc Formula Fords – run over a series of qualifying heats\, graduating to a series of elimination rounds leading to a Race Final. There will be a separate Final for eligible cars built prior to 31.12.89 (listed as Historic in the timetable) that do not qualify in the list of 36 Finalists. \nSilverstone Allcomers Closed Wheel Race 15 mins Qualifying and Race 20 laps or 25 mins – all on Sunday – any closed wheel car may be entered into this race. \nBWRDC Ladies Allcomers Closed Wheel Sealed Handicap Race Qualifying 15 mins and Race 20 laps or 25 mins all on Sunday \nHSCC supporting races for eligible cars are the \n\nHSCC Open Wheel Allcomers Qualifying 10 mins and Race 20 laps or 25 mins all on Saturday\nHSCC Closed Wheel Allcomers Qualifying 10 mins and Race 20 laps or 25 mins all on Saturday\n\nEntry forms for these are downloadable from our website – these races cannot be entered online. \nFor ALL testing plus race entries for the Walter Hayes Trophy\, the Silverstone Allcomers Closed Wheel Race\, and the BWRDC Ladies Allcomers Closed Wheel Sealed Handicap Race please visit the Silverstone website.

SUMMARY:Historic Sporting Trial 10th November
DESCRIPTION:The next Historic Sporting Trial will be held by the Stroud and District Motor Club. It is the Cotswold Historic Sporting Trial which will be run on Richard Rowe’s ground at Bradley Green\, Wotton under Edge\, Gloucs. GL12 7PN. \nMany HSCC competitors have already entered including Frank Lyons\, Mike Bletsoe-Brown\, Dave Methley and Geoff Richardson so it promises to be entertaining and fun. Spectators are welcome and will be pleased to know there will be a food van and loos. \nBring warm\, waterproof clothing and wellies to enjoy the day closer to the action which starts at 10.30am Please be aware that everyone must park in the field so it is best not to come in a very low slung car to this event. \nFurther details on historic sporting trials are available from Martyn Halliday 07739 464170. Trials are great fun\, the family can take part and we aim for a very relaxed atmosphere whilst playing with old motor cars. \n

DESCRIPTION:Booking forms are now available for our Annual Dinner Dance & Awards Presentation evening which will be held at Whittlebury Hall on 17th November 6.15pm for 7.00pm.  All members and guests are welcome and the dress code is black tie and posh frocks. \nIt is an evening to celebrate the end of another season with presentations of both Championship and Marque Awards.
