DESCRIPTION:The next Historic Sporting Trial will be held by the Stroud and District Motor Club. It is the Cotswold Historic Sporting Trial which will be run on Richard Rowe’s ground at Bradley Green\, Wotton under Edge\, Gloucs. GL12 7PN. \nMany HSCC competitors have already entered including Frank Lyons\, Mike Bletsoe-Brown\, Dave Methley and Geoff Richardson so it promises to be entertaining and fun. DESCRIPTION:On 8th December KBCC will hold the Mony Peter Historic Sporting Trial at Ian Wright’s off road centry at Ashtree Farm Teston Road\, West Malling\, Kent\, ME19 5RL. There is a big meeting room with a log burner and proper indoor loos (always a plus). DESCRIPTION:If you haven’t had too much festive fare over the Christmas period – you might like to enter (or attend) the 750 Motor Club’s Historic Plum Pudding Sporting Trial at Head Down\, Buriton\, near Petersfield\, Hants. GU31 5SN on 29th December. \nApproach to the site is up a hard forestry track and the parking is on the side of the track. There will be a food van and loos. Spectators are welcome\, there is usually a large entry with many HSCC competitors coming out to play after Christmas. DESCRIPTION:At this year’s Autosport Show we are celebrating 50 years of Formula 5000. The Formula had a very brief history running from 1969 – 1975 and in its heyday\, there were series in America\, Canada\, New Zealand\, Australia and the UK.  We will have six cars on display representing these years on our stand number 4040 in Hall 4. \nOn Friday 11th January between 2-3pm we are arranging a get-together of Formula 5000 drivers past and present and so far we have received acceptances from drivers including Ray Allen\, Chris Craft\, Damien Magee\, Teddy Pilette \, Patrick Sumner\, Tony Trimmer and Cyd Williams – so please come along to admire the cars and have a chat. \nPlease note this year’s Show is sited on the Piazza side of the NEC – occupying Halls 1-5 focusing on three aspects Engineering\, The Racing Car Show and Performance and Tuning. The Show will follow the usual format of Trade Days on Thursday 10th and Friday 11th and will be open to the public on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th – opening times are 09.00 to 18.00 each day. \n  \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:The Historic Sporting Trials season kicks off with the annual get together on Saturday 9th February with the Sywell Supper. This is being held in the splendid Aviator Hotel at Sywell Aerodrome. \nThe Trial itself will take place the following day\, Sunday 10th February\, run by the Midlands Trial Car Club\, Sywell Aerodrome\, near Northampton. NN6 0BN. \nThis a great site in an old stone pit a few hundred yards from the airfield. There is easy spectator car parking with decent loos and an excellent catering van. DESCRIPTION:We return to Stoneleigh Park for the popular Race Retro International Historic Motorsport Show in February from 22nd to 24th. We will be in our ‘usual’ spot in Hall 2\, stand 2-230 and look forward to lots our members and friends coming to see us over the course of the three days. \nThe HSCC is at the forefront of UK historic racing and has a portfolio of 17 championships and series. The depth of quality and diversity of its racing programme will be reflected in the cars on show at Race Retro. Cars from ideal starter-level categories will include the 70s Road Sports Marcos 3000GT of Nic Strong and a Historic Formula Ford 1600 Merlyn Mk20A from the Speedsport team. \nCars from Classic Formula 3\, Historic Formula Junior\, Classic Clubmans and the Guards Trophy for GT and sports-racing cars will pack out the stand along with the stunning Ford Sierra RS500 of Mark Wright\, which flies the flag for the exciting new Dunlop Saloon Car Cup. At the opposite end of the historic motor sport spectrum will be the Cannon Historic Sporting Trials car of  Frank Lyons. \nThe Show will be open from 09.30 to 17.30 on Friday and Saturday and from 09.30 to 16.30 on Sunday. Parking is free and if you book your tickets in advance you can save up to 20% – just follow the link to the Race Retro website – this is open until midnight on Thursday 21st February

SUMMARY:Two Day Historic Sporting Trial
DESCRIPTION:This is an exciting new site for historic sporting trials which is set in rolling hills. It will be a two day event run on 11th and 12th May by the Midland Trials Car Club at Crewkerne\, Somerset. There are plans for a “trials supper” at a local pub on Saturday night. Spectators will be welcome. \nFurther details on historic sporting trials are available from Martyn Halliday 07739 464170. Trials are great fun\, the family can take part and we aim for a very relaxed atmosphere whilst playing with old motor cars.

DESCRIPTION:We return to the popular and challenging twists and turns of Cadwell Park for this two day meeting \n\nHistoric Road Sports –  Saturday Qualifying 15 mins and Race 1. Sunday Race 2 – both races are 20 mins\nGuards Trophy – There will be a qualifying session of 15 mins for each of the two 20 min races. Drivers qualifying in session 1 will compete in Race 1 drivers qualifying in session 2 will compete in Race 2. If you are not sharing a car you must qualify in both sessions in order to race in both races. There are no pit stops and this is a non Championship round – all on Saturday. All GT cars are eligible and Classes SRA and SRB in Sports Racers. We are sorry but\, owing to track licence restrictions\, SRC and SRD class cars will not be able to enter.\n70’s Road Sports –  Saturday Qualifying 15 mins and Race 1.
