SUMMARY:Brands Hatch Indy
DESCRIPTION:The HSCC’s 2022 racing season kicks off on the Indy circuit at Brands Hatch on April 2/3\, two weeks before the Easter weekend. It should be a great start to the season with all grids having a double-header on the ever entertaining Indy circuit at the famous Kent venue \nOn Saturday 70s Road Sports 80s Production and Formula Junior all in action. while on Sunday only are Historic Road Sports and Historic Touring Cars. Racing on both days of the weekend are Classic Formula 3\, Historic Formula Ford 2000\, Classic Clubmans and Formula Atlantic. The double-header for Formula Atlantic is a new venture for the Club\, bringing together the growing number of such cars that are being rebuilt and race-prepared for this wonderful 1970s and early 1980s category. Hopefully\, this will be a great start to the year for the category and lead on to perhaps some more stand-alone races later in the season. \nBrands Hatch Indy is a hectic lap with little chance to rest\, as the circuit constantly changes direction and elevation. The spectacular plunge down Paddock Hill Bend remains one of the big challenges in British racing was the tricky sequence of corners at Surtees\, Clearways and Clark is always a scene of place changing.
