CHASE Equipment has renewed its support for the Historic Sports Car Club’s Historic Modsports and Special Saloon Series in 2024.

CHASE Equipment, one of the UK’s leading loading bay specialists, is entering its second year as series sponsor and has announced a prize package of £1000 which will be available across the four classes. The funds will be used to reduce race entry fees for competitors.

At each of the first four events, a draw will be held with one driver winning a £100 discount from their next entry fee. Each driver can only win this award once in the season. In addition, at each of the first four events a prize fund of £150, in the form of discounts for the next race, will be shared across the first three finishers in one of the four classes.

At Snetterton in April, the top three finishers in Class C will earn discounts of £75, £50 and £25 from their next entry fees. At Cadwell Park in May, the discounts will be allocated to Class A while at Donington Park in June the cars in Class D will be the focus. Then, at Croft in August the rewards will go to the cars in Class B.

Andy Dee-Crowne, CEO of the HSCC; said: “This is a great gesture by CHASE and gives a fair chance for everyone competing to receive some sort of discount to their racing across the season. Competitor interest in our Historic Modsports and Special Saloon Series continues to grow.”

In another welcome development, Black Shuck Distillery has agreed to provide a bottle of its signature gin for the winner of each race across the season. The prizes, with a total value of around £400, will allow drivers and teams to enjoy the outstanding product of the Norfolk distillery, albeit away from race meetings.
