A new partnership between Carless Racing Fuels and the HSCC’s Historic Formula Ford 1600 Championship was unveiled at Cadwell Park over the weekend (19/20 May).

Arranged through Vital Equipment, the UK distributor for Carless Racing Fuels, the partnership will bring the Carless brand firmly into the historic racing arena by supporting one of the most successful, best supported and most competitive classes of historic racing.

Carless Racing Fuels are produced in UK. The Harwich refinery site in Essex has the ability to blend traditional and high performance fuels for motor sport at the highest level and to provide control fuels for other motor sport series such as the FIA World Rally Championship.

Hiperflo is a range of advanced racing and control fuels founded by Carless which has been designed to give motor sport competitors closely controlled and ultra consistent high performance. Hiperflo fuels are used at many of the world’s leading motor sport events and Vital Equipment will now be providing paddock support and fuel supply at HSCC race meetings.

Alistair Roberts from Vital Equipment, the UK distributor for Carless Racing Fuels, said: “This was an opportunity to be involved with Historic Formula Ford and to be part of the HSCC paddock. The Carless leaded fuel is ideally suited to historic racing cars.”

Grahame White, CEO of the HSCC said: “We are delighted to have Carless on board and look forward to a long-standing association. Historic Formula Ford is one of our best-supported championships and this new partnership is a further boost for the category.”
